“I like to serve as the Lord has asked.” I truly believe we are placed here to aid and help one another. Not one of us can survive on our own but working with one another we have a better chance to enjoy life and the fruits thereof. Seldom do I grow weary in offering assistance to those in need. Guess what? When I am in need somehow God addresses that need by sending a comforter. It can be as little as lifting my spirit when I am a bit down, to embracing me during the loss of a loved one. God places someone in my life to get me over the hump. I am reminded of that poem, “Footprints in the Sand.” He carries me when I am unable to carry myself. So, I offer myself to the Lord to use me to serve others. “And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” (Acts 20:35)
