Caring ministry is guided by the saving grace of Jesus Christ to demonstrate the qualities of caring, faith, hope and love. This ministry reaches out to our members who are ill, elderly, homebound, hospitalized and otherwise confined, as well as those on remote work assignments, military personnel, those away at college and anyone who simply does not attend church regularly. We strive to be attentive to the needs of the community also.
This ministry offers prayer, visitation, telephone calls, cards and monetary gifts. When death comes to the St. Mark family, we offer grief counseling; floral arrangements or charitable donations are provided as requested by the family. Our goal is to be a reminder that whatever you are going through you are not alone. For those who wish to arrange a service at St. Mark, the Personal Guide For Planning The Homegoing Celebration will help you during this time.
Caring Ministry Meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of each month. Please consult the church office for additional information.
