St. Mark recognizes the importance of supporting our veterans in the community. The United Methodist Men organizes Veteran’s Seminars which offers information about Health Care, Vocational Rehabilitation, Burial and Memorial Benefits, Incarcerated Veterans, Dependent & Survivors Benefits and so much more. In addition, information is provided on job opportunities for all Veterans, especially those who are disabled. On Veteran’s Day, St. Mark pays homage to Veterans of all branches of service. Veterans are called to the altar for a special prayer and a Veteran’s Day Litany is read.
